Benzing security patrol equipment has been around now for over a century. Made
in Germany and utterly reliable, their systems are among the simplest to
operate and most tamperproof available.
An electronic patrol system which uses a battery powered collector, or hand
unit, to register the patrolman at his checkpoints. Each inspection point is
fitted with a small weatherproof box which registers the time and date of
inspection on the collector. A collector can store up to 800 such
registrations before needing to be emptied. The collector downloads its
information to a Base Station which either prints a report or transmits the
data to a computer, depending on the Cogard version.
The de facto Electronic Checkpoint system for security personnel.
The model 1000 collector can store up to 1000 bookings from as many as 250 checkpoints.
The microchip checkpoints are low profile, weather resistant, and non contact.
The data collectors are water and shock resistant, with a battery life of up to 8-10 days between charges, depending on how much use the unit gets.
Data output formats for the 1000 series include the Standard paper printout, and CoSoft, a PC downloadable version that connects directly to your computer and allows customised remarks and chip location descriptions.
